Our Story

More Than a Safari Company – A Journey of Passion

The Beginning

The Beginning

More Than a Safari Company – A Journey of Passion

Milo-Conn Safaris was born from a deep love for East Africa's wild places and a desire to share them with the world – not as a tour operator, but as storytellers.

The journey began in the shadows of the Rwenzori Mountains, where generations of local guides learned the ways of the wild from elders who understood the land not as a resource, but as a relative. This deep-rooted connection to the African wilderness forms the foundation of every Milo-Conn safari.

What started as guiding small groups through Uganda's hidden gems gradually evolved into something larger. Word spread. Travelers returned home not just with photographs, but with stories – of gorilla encounters that changed them, of savannah sunsets that rewired their sense of time, of people whose warmth matched the African sun.

Today, Milo-Conn Safaris crafts journeys across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda. But our purpose remains the same: to create experiences that stay with you long after the luggage is unpacked.

Our Philosophy

Our Philosophy

We don't sell packages. We craft narratives.

Every safari with Milo-Conn is designed as a story – with beginning, middle, and end. We think about pacing, about emotional arcs, about the moments that will linger. A lion hunt at dawn. The quiet after a gorilla encounter. A conversation with a Maasai elder that changes how you see the world.

This philosophy extends to how we treat the places we visit. We believe that travel should benefit both traveler and destination. That's why we partner with conservation initiatives, support community projects, and ensure our presence leaves a positive footprint.
